General Pathology is the branch of medicine treating the essential nature of disease especially of the changes in body tissues and organs caused by disease. Integrated teaching and interactive discussions make the students take active participation in the teaching learning programme. Medical microbiology is the study of microbes (Bacteria, Fungi, Viruses and Parasites) that infect humans, the diseases they cause and their diagnosis , prevention and treatment . It also deals with the response of human host to microbial agents and their antigens.
