Rajas Dental College and Hospital (RDCH) was established in the year 1987 as a fruit of the immense, assiduous, and monumental efforts of our founder chairman Sardar Dr. S.A. Raja. Since then, our college proudly has been at the forefront of delivering quality education in India, with an illustrious 34 years of excellence in grooming young and brilliant minds in the field of dentistry and allied health sciences. The college is affiliated with the prestigious Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, and it effectively functions under the governing council of Selvam Educational Trust, guided by the proficient leadership of our chairman Prof. Dr. Jacob Raja – a man of clarity and innovation.

Well-equipped pre-clinical labs with patient simulators in Prosthodontics and Conservative Dentistry provide students with the best learning experience.
Central Research Laboratory
The Central Research Laboratory is well equipped to conduct advanced molecular, microbial and biochemical research by our PG students, research scholars and teaching faculties.
Imaging and Diagnostic Laboratory
The department of oral medicine and radiology is equipped with IOPA, OPG, Lateral Cephalogram for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Medical Science Practical Laboratory
Practical laboratories in all basic medical science departments provide a platform for understanding core concepts of subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, and Microbiology.
Central Research Laboratory
Central Research Laboratory (CRL) was established at Rajas Dental College & Hospital campus by our honorable chairman Dr. Jacob Raja, with views to contribute multidisciplinary R&D activities and offer a platform to researchers to avail such lab facilities. CRL functions as the flagship enterprise of Rajas Medical Institutions with a dedicated team of experienced clinicians, Academicians, scientists, and public health researchers.

I took an entrance exam and my cut off was 195/300 so through counselling I got admission to Rajas dental college. My 12th mark was also considered for the admission process. I joined the college through MGR affiliated university. I chose this course due to my personal interest and a few of my family members are doctors which made me to chose this course. My college faculties are highly qualified since they are all Doctors and the ratio is like 35:6. The teaching method is completely practical, patient cases and the teaching method in the class is ppt presentation.
I completed my BDS from Rajas Dental College and Hospital. I learnt numerous things and gained various skills at college. I enjoyed the course duration alot, we had very good teachers and good facilities at college helped us practice anytime and any much we liked. The overall experience of college was quite good. The course curriculum is quite good. Different practices and techniques were taught to us in respective labs. The course aimed at practical implementation and studies of different respects. The course was divided into 8 semesters, and examinations were held at the end of each semester.
