Rajas old students association (ROSA) is a registered alumni association that serves as a bridge between alumni, students and management of the college. This is an enriching platform through which both the alumni and the students are benefitted .There is a structured Alumni association in the college which meets regularly atleast once in a year. Alumni members actively participate in the meeting and present lectures on various topics in which career orientation programmes hold the main stay of the lecture. All the alumni have good interaction with the students so that the students get an orientation and guidance in their prospective dental career. The Alumni is conversant with the programs and activities of the college, provide financial support to the college and its programs, develop alumni programs that foster fellowship among alumni and encourage the physical, moral, and spiritual growth of the college and assist the college in the growth of its academic, administrative, cultural, and extracurricular activities. The alumni members take an active role in encouraging the students by honouring the toppers of the year in each department with financial support through cash awards. The valuable suggestions and feedback given by alumni during the meetings are implemented for the welfare of the institution. Many of the alumni’s have admitted their wards in this institution have been given financial and moral support by the management. Many of the students have been given ample job opportunities in the clinics both in our country and abroad run by our esteemed Alumni’s as a way of gratitude towards the college. Many of the alumni from our college has been holding prime positions in premier institutions and governing bodies. Every year alumnus along with the students and staffs will conduct rallies regarding AIDS awareness, Swatch bharath, tobacco ceasation, Go green and in social awareness programmes.

Born and brought up in Bahrain, Dr. Raj completed his graduation from Rajas Dental College attached to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, India in 1997. He completed his training in Neuromuscular Orthodontics at ICNOG (International College of Neuromuscular Orthodontics and Gnathology, Italy) in 2006. He is the PIONEER in South Asia to use the ULF TENS and mandibular tracking device (K7) and hence start the super-specialty practice of Neuromuscular Dentistry in India in 2004. Dr. Raj is an AACP - Tufts certified Dental Sleep Medicine specialist after completing his residency programme on “TMJ and Sleep Medicine” at Tufts University, Boston, USA in 2011. He procured his Fellowship and Mastership from ICCMO (International College of Cranio Mandibular Orthopedics) in 2015
He received his PhD from Ecole Superieure, University of Sorbonne in France in 2018. He is the Founder President of ICCMO India Section that was formed in 2017. He is also currently the International Secretary of the ICCMO International Board of Regents. He has occupied several positions in the IDA (Indian Dental Association).
Dr. Rajesh is the Managing Director of “Indra Craniofacial Pain Relief India LLP” which runs The Right Bite Duedent Neuromuscular Orthodontic Lab to fabricate licensed appliances in South Asia like ALF, DNA etc. He is the Founding Chairman of the “The Right Bite Sleep & TMJ Pain Care®” that runs centres across South Asia to treat patients with craniofacial pain and conducts seminars/courses. He encourages the point that dentists are not just “Tooth-doctors”! He is a consultant TMJ/Sleep Medicine specialist at The Right Bite Sleep & TMJ Pain Care (Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Dubai & Jeddah) & KIMS Speciality Hospital (Trivandrum).

Dr. Ram Surath Kumar currently works as a Scientist at the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Headquarters, New Delhi. Previously, he worked as a Research Officer at the National Resource Centre for Oral Healthcare of Children and Elderly, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
He pursued postgraduation specializing in Public Health Dentistry (MDS) at the KLE Vishwanath Katti Institute of Dental Sciences in Belagavi, India. He has participated in several biomedical research projects, clinical trials, and outreach programs.
Dr. Kumar has received training in the fields of Economic Evaluation, Systematic Review & Meta-analysis, Research Ethics, Intellectual Property Rights, Biostatistics, and Evidence-Based Dentistry. His vision is to introduce various healthcare innovations to sectors that focus equally on patient requirements and create a healthy community free of oral illnesses.

Dr (Col) Harjeet Singh

Dr (Col) Harjeet Singh joined Rajas Dental college in yr 1994 as the eighth batch of students at Vadakangulam. He completed his internship in Jan 2000 and started practicing at his hometown, Ludhiana.
He joined Armed Forces in yr 2002, donning Whites of Indian Navy, commissioned as Dental Officer at Naval Institute of Dental Sciences, Colaba, Mumbai.
He completed his MDS in Periodontology from prestigious Armed Forces Medical College, Pune in yr 2009. During last 22 yrs of service he has served in all major commands of Indian Navy. He was part of commissioning crew for Indian Aircraft Carrier INS Vikramaditya. The Officers has been honored for his meritorious service with Chief of Naval Staff commendation twice and Flag Officer Commanding-in- Chief once.
As a clinician he is well known for his expertise in Periodontal Microsurgery. He takes keen interest in honning the micro skills of budding Periodontist. He is also an avid researcher, having completed 04 AFMRC research projects.
