INTERNAL QUALITY AND ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), through its National Action Plan proposes to establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell ( IQAC) in every accredited institution. The IQAC work towards realizing the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance in the post accreditation phase. The IQAC help in funnelling the efforts of the institution towards academic excellence while also developing a system for conscious and consistent improvements in its performance. In the post accreditation phase, it will make a significant contribution to the institution after the NAAC has done its work.
Goals
- A system developed to improve the overall administrative and academic performance of the Institution through consistent action
- To improve the quality and brand image of the Institution and its collaborations which are to be made with other academic institutions and global agencies
- Measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement promoted by way of internalization of quality culture and adoption of best practices.
