OVERVIEW

The Department of Microbiology forms an integral part of the dental curriculum, providing students with a strong foundation in understanding microorganisms and their role in oral and systemic diseases. The department focuses on teaching, training, and research in medical and oral microbiology, infection control, immunology, and antimicrobial resistance. With well- equipped laboratories and experienced faculty, the department emphasizes hands-on learning, diagnostic skills, and research exposure to prepare students for clinical and academic excellence.
